Key Hole Bath
Lake Metigoshe, North Dakota
This was a VERY challenging bathroom to design. It was a tiny, odd shaped space, and the homeowner wanted a full bath with ample storage and a walk in shower. This was also the guest bath for everyone, including those stopping in to say hello off the lake. We decided to make this bathroom into a jewel box.

What we did...
- We tucked the shower in the oddest angled shape of the room and brought in the unique shower opening to hide the weird angles and eliminate the need for a shower door that would crowd the space.
- Minot Sash and Door made the floating vanity to give the bathroom a larger look and feel.
- We added the mirror with a graceful curve mullion to give that jewelry box feel, which also helped the space look larger than it is and to make a connection to the curve of the shower opening.
The homeowners grandson claimed the bathroom as his own because he loved it so much! When you step into this bathroom, you would never guess all of the challenges we had to work with to make this space function properly and look like the jewel it is.
